Welcome inside the new Mercedes GT AMG. The exterior styling of Mercedes’ new Jaguar F-type Coupe and Porsche 911 rival is still (just about) under wraps, but Mercedes has now shown off what owners of the new £85,000 coupe can expect to find inside their new car when it goes on sale in 2015. Let’s kick off with the centre tunnel.
The Jaguar Jaguar XJ_e plug-in hybrid research car with a 2.0 litre EcoBoost engine and 69kW electric motor on show at Goodwood. It’s been a bit of a Jaguar 24hrs with the news of prices for the new Xf Sportbrake and the debut of the new 3.0L Supercharged engine in the XJ for 2013. Now we get the public debut of the Jaguar XJ_e plug-in hybrid at the Goodwood Festival of Speed today featuring the 2.0 litre Ecoboost petrol engine from the Evoque and a 69kW (93bhp) electric motor.

Just over a week ago we reported that Nissan were working on a ‘Super Juke’, a version of the cute urban warrior Juke with underpinnings from the Nissan GT-R. And now it’s official – welcome the Nissan Juke-R. despite our earlier report on the Juke-R promising the prospect of a mad Juke as an addition to the Juke lineup - albeit an extreme version – Nissan are calling the 520bhp Juke-R a concept.
